Motion 1- Proposed by Councillor L. Dunne- "This Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to investigate and bring forward proposals for the permanent redesign of the recessed area at the entrance to Montpelier Estate, which has become a persistent location for illegal dumping and deliberate fires. Such proposals should consider physical interventions, including landscaping, raised planting beds, bollards, or other appropriate measures, to design out the opportunity for illegal dumping and improve the safety, security, and appearance of the estate entrance?"

Motion 2-Proposed by Councillor P. Holohan "This Tallaght area committee request the council to explore the possibility of feature/seating space around the two Hawthorn trees on whitestown greenway?"

Whelan "This area committee requests that the Community and Age Friendly team run some workshop open days, similar to the launch day, in the new Pickle Ball and Boules courts in Dodder Valley Park, with a view to promote and encourage its use among older members of our community in particular?"

Motion 4 -Proposed by Councillor J. Spear "This area committee agrees that a safe pedestrian crossing is urgently needed next to the Kilnamanagh Playground in Tallaght, as the current crossing is not fit for purpose?"

Motion 5-Proposed by Councillor L. Dunne "This Area Committee writes to the Minister for Transport and the National Transport Authority calling for the proposed increase in public transport fares, due to come into effect in January 2027, to be halted and to explain in their response why these increases are being proposed?"

Motion 6- Proposed by Councillor N. Whelan-"This area committee requests that SDCC write to the OPW to request the restoration and maintenance of our only national monument known as "The Fosse", which has been left in a a state of disrepair?"
